Reminds me of all the poems I read back then. And this was indeed one of the best poems, along with Subhadra Kumari Chauhan’s “Mera Naya Bachpan”. These are the best lines in that poem:

‘माठओ’ कहकर बà¥à¤²à¤¾ रही थी मिटà¥à¤Ÿà¥€ खाकर आयी थी।
कà¥à¤› मà¥à¤à¤¹ में कà¥à¤› लिये हाथ में मà¥à¤à¥‡ खिलाने लायी थी॥
पà¥à¤²à¤• रहे थे अंग, दृगों में कौतà¥à¤¹à¤² था छलक रहा।
मà¥à¤à¤¹ पर थी आहà¥à¤²à¤¾à¤¦-लालिमा विजय-गरà¥à¤µ था à¤à¤²à¤• रहा॥
मैंने पूछा ‘यह कà¥à¤¯à¤¾ लायी?’ बोल उठी वह ‘माà¤, काओ’।
हà¥à¤† पà¥à¤°à¤«à¥à¤²à¥à¤²à¤¿à¤¤ हृदय खà¥à¤¶à¥€ से मैंने कहा - ‘तà¥à¤®à¥à¤¹à¥€à¤‚ खाओ’॥

abhilasha…ek aisi chahat hai jisko pane ki tmnna to sabhi karte hai pr milta usi ko hai jiske dil me afsana ho….kyoki mai afsana hu

Main bachpan ko bula rahi thi bol uthi bitiya meri,
Nandan van si phool uthi yeh chhoti si kutiya meri.
“Ma o” keh kar bula rahi thi mitti kha kar aayi thi,
Kuchh muhn mein kuchh liye haath mein mujhe khilane layi thi.
Pulak rahe the ang drago mein kautahul tha chhalak raha,
Muhn par thi aahlad-lalima vijay gaurav tha chhalak raha.
Maine puchha “Yeh kya layi?” bol uthi voh “Ma kao”,
Hua praffulit hriday khushi se maine kahan - “tum hi khao”.
